The Daily Flow: May 14, 2026 Manual Extraction with the S01A-9BAR

Date: May 14, 2026

After a few days of experimenting with Moka pot brewing, returning to the MeeBaa S01A-9BAR (our original demo unit) provided a striking contrast in texture and clarity. Today’s morning cup was a perfect example of how consistent pressure transforms a standard bean into a professional-grade latte base.

The Setup

  • Machine: MeeBaa S01A-9BAR (Original Demo Unit)
  • Target Pressure: 9 Bars (~29kg downward force)
  • The Workflow: Standard piston preheat with a focus on a steady 30–35 second pull.

The Bean Profile

  • Bean: Kirkland Colombian Supremo
  • Roast Level: Medium Roast
  • Roast Date: Feb 09, 2026
  • Extraction Date: May 14, 2026 (approx. 3 months post-roast)

The Result

Despite being 94 days post-roast, the extraction produced a resilient, elastic crema with excellent color saturation. While Moka pots can produce large surface bubbles, the 9-bar extraction on the S01A creates a true colloidal suspension—micro-bubbles and emulsified oils that hold their structure even when swirled.

As we have been telling to the public that the manual espresso machine at home,  is good for everyone to use, to own one.
